Files & templates

How to prepare your file so the laser understands it — the colors control what happens.

Supported formats

You can upload SVG, DXF, PDF, EPS and AI. SVG and PDF with pure vector paths are the most robust.

CorelDraw (CDR)? We do not accept CDR files directly. Export from CorelDraw as SVG or EPS: convert text to curves first (Object → Convert to curves), then File → Export and choose SVG or EPS.

Colors control the laser

The stroke color of your paths decides what the laser does — RGB mode is mandatory.

Laser operations with color and stroke width
TaskColor (RGB)Stroke width / fill
CuttingBlue — RGB(0, 0, 255)Hairline (0.01 mm)
Marking / vector engravingRed — RGB(255, 0, 0)Hairline — the engraved line is about as wide as the laser beam
Raster engravingBlack — RGB(0, 0, 0)filled areas
The difference:
vector engravingThe laser traces a line and engraves it into the material — precise, ideal for fine contours. In your file: red hairlines, RGB(255, 0, 0).More in the glossary
traces lines,
raster engravingThe laser fills an area line by line — like a printer. Ideal for logos and larger motifs. In your file: black filled areas, RGB(0, 0, 0).More in the glossary
fills areas line by line.

Vectors only

  • Convert text to paths — fonts that are not converted are ignored.
  • No embedded raster images — the laser only follows vector paths.
  • Set up colors in RGB mode (not CMYK) — only the exact values control the laser.

Bending

Bend lines are straight hairlines in a dedicated color code: angle and radius are encoded exactly in the stroke color — no extra data in the file.

Note: bending is currently in preparation and not yet orderable — bend lines are recognized and shown in the preview; ordering stays blocked until production sign-off.

The stroke color is rgb(255, G, B): G = bend angle in degrees (1–180). B = 2·radius for an upward bend (mountain) or B = 128 + 2·radius for a downward bend (valley); inner radius in mm in 0.5 mm steps, radius 0 = sharp fold — at 180° the faces meet. Mnemonic: the hotter the color, the sharper the bend.

  • Bend lines always act edge to edge: the line bends every cut part it crosses completely — partial bends do not exist.
  • Dashed = mountain (+), dotted = valley (−) is only a visual aid — the color alone decides.
  • Bendable are acrylic up to 6 mm, PET-G and polypropylene; the minimum radius for acrylic is twice the material thickness.
