Barista station: the portafilter holder in plywood
Two portafilters, tamper, milk jug and blind basket in one place: our barista station is laser-cut from plywood and slots together without a single screw.
The coffee corner is the untidiest square metre of any kitchen. The barista station clears it up: two portafilters hang in cut-outs on the upright back panel, the shelf holds the milk jug and the blind basket in round openings, and diamond-shaped slots take the distribution tool and the cleaning brush. Every part comes from one sheet of plywood — cut and engraved in a single pass.
Nothing is screwed and nothing is glued: back panel, shelf and the angled strut slot into each other with tab-and-slot joints and stand as a self-supporting triangle on the worktop. For cleaning, the station comes apart into flat pieces in seconds and stores away flat afterwards. The wordmark on the back panel is not a sticker but an engraving from the same job.
The station is not a finished product off a shelf but a drawing — so almost everything can be adapted: the openings to your own milk jug, the engraving to your own name or your café's logo. Plywood or acrylic, in more than ten colours. It is made in Baden-Baden, and only after the order — there is no warehouse a station could come from.
