An XXL X for a workshop
Agency owner Marco Hussels had a large-format X laser-cut from MDF — jigsaw-joined from many segments, painted as a tactile workshop centrepiece.
Bigger than any sheet: the X consists of individual MDF segments with curved jigsaw joints that assemble seamlessly into the large format. After cutting at Formulor, Hussels painted the parts in vivid pink — the centrepiece for a client workshop was ready.
His verdict after the project: "I am genuinely impressed by the workmanship and quality. Many thanks also for the thorough advice — for a project of this rather small scale that is certainly not a given." That is precisely what the laser is for: batch size one included.
