Acrylic glass impact-resistant
2 variants, thicknesses: 3 / 4 mm. Cut on the P1–P3 and Q formats, price shown live while you design.
- Laser cutting
- Vector engraving
- Raster engraving
- Bendable up to 4 mm
kerf
The laser vaporizes material — the cutting gap varies with material and thickness. Cuts run centered on the drawn line; for shape.tools products we factor the kerf into your dimensions automatically.More in the glossary →P1–P3 and Q sheet formats
Our four sheet formats: P1 = 181 × 181 mm, P2 = 384 × 384 mm, P3 = 790 × 384 mm, Q = 900 × 450 mm. Your design has to fit on one of the sheets. For scale: a vinyl record cover sits between P1 and P2.More in the glossary →Good to know
Description
Impact-resistant, extruded acrylic glass (PLEXIGLAS RESIST): it is much harder to break than ordinary acrylic, which makes it the choice for splash guards and protective screens, machine covers and anything that has to withstand a knock. In transparency it is indistinguishable from clear acrylic.
Further processing
Like acrylic glass XT, it can be thermoformed. For bonding, use adhesives made for extruded acrylic.
Cleaning
No glass cleaners — they roughen and dull the surface. Use warm water with washing-up liquid or a dedicated plastic cleaner. Stubborn dirt comes off with white spirit or isopropyl alcohol (2-propanol, available at any pharmacy).
Protective film
Acrylic glass always ships with a peelable protective film. Detach small parts from the film carefully — delicate pieces can break otherwise.
Bridges
For small parts under 15 × 15 mm, plan small bridges: interrupt the cut contour by at least 0.5–0.8 mm. All parts then stay safely in the sheet until they reach you — push them out by hand or free them carefully with a craft knife.

Quick answers
Which thicknesses does Acrylic glass impact-resistant come in?
3 / 4 mm — 2 thicknesses across 2 variants of colour and finish. You pick the thickness while designing; it drives both price and cutting time.
Which sheet sizes do you cut on?
Four formats: P1 181 × 181 mm, P2 384 × 384 mm, P3 790 × 384 mm, Q 900 × 450 mm. Your design has to fit one of these sheets — larger objects get split into several parts.
What does Acrylic glass impact-resistant cost?
A sheet starts at €2.61 (P1), €11.71 (P2), €24.09 (P3) and €32.17 (Q), each including VAT. What you pay for is the cutting: area, cutting length, engraving, setup and shipping — calculated before you order.
Can Acrylic glass impact-resistant be engraved?
Yes, both as vector engraving and as raster engraving. In your file the colour drives the laser: red hairlines are engraved as lines, black filled areas as surfaces.
Can Acrylic glass impact-resistant be bent?
Yes. Acrylic glass impact-resistant can be bent along a straight line, in thicknesses up to 4 mm. You draw the bend line with the “Bend” tool and set angle and radius.
Do I get the whole sheet?
No. You receive your cut parts, not the rest of the sheet. The sheet price is the basis for the calculation, not the scope of delivery.
